
Ewan Millar (oboe) and Tomos Boyles (piano) present a wide-ranging programme for oboe and piano that spans the Baroque to the present day, bringing together music by Bach, Finzi, Ravel, Coleridge-Taylor, Barber, Boulanger and Schumann, alongside contemporary works by Thea Musgrave and Alyssa Morris.
This concert will take place on Sunday 12th April at 3pm in Iffley Church Hall, and offers an opportunity to hear the expressive range and distinctive voice of the oboe across a rich and varied repertoire.

JS Bach – Oboe Sonata in G minor, BWV 1030b
Robert Schumann – Adagio and Allegro
Maurice Ravel – Sonatine arr. oboe and piano
Samuel Coleridge-Taylor - Deep River arr. for oboe and piano
Lili Boulanger - Elle etait descendue au bas de la prairie
Gerald Finzi - Interlude
Samuel Barber - Canzonetta
Thea Musgrave – Dawn
Alyssa Morris - Colission Etudes Nos.5&6
