Join us on 4th October for an autumn afternoon of chamber music performed by one of the UK’s leading string quartets in the welcoming setting of Iffley Church Hall.

The Piatti Quartet present a powerful and deeply expressive programme for string quartet, ranging from the intensity and emotional depth of Shostakovich’s Tenth Quartet and the youthful passion of Mendelssohn’s A minor Quartet to the warmth and lyricism of Borodin’s much-loved Second Quartet. Combining dramatic contrasts with rich melodic writing, the programme showcases the extraordinary range and emotional power of the string quartet repertoire.
